DECK Agency was hired as the agency of record for SPINCO from September 2016 - August 2018. Throughout the partnership, DECK handled the media relations for the brand, maximizing coverage across all platforms including print, broadcast, online and social media. DECK secured stories in top national and local outlets including The Kit, Canadian Living, FASHION Magazine, Best Health, Well TO Do, ELLE, Metro, BlogTO, Toronto Life, etalk and CP24. Stories included studio features, profile pieces on the Founder, brand mentions and inclusions in ‘Best Of’ and ‘Things To Do’ lists.

Additionally, DECK planned and facilitated multiple influencer programs and co-hosted classes, increasing visibility and awareness for the brand on an ongoing basis. For each program, DECK strategically selected on-brand individuals with influence, high social followings and strong engagement.

To create buzz and excitement around SPINCO and its expansion, DECK coordinated multiple media-focused events for new studio openings and milestone celebrations.

DECK also designed and developed a number of branded creatives for use on social media and in-studio programs that has helped build brand awareness, engage new members and maintain loyal riders

In total, DECK has secured over 50 million impressions as a result of ongoing media relations, story development, press release creation and distribution, proactive pitching and media initiatives including influencer programs and co-hosted classes.
